THE MAGIC OF MERV 13 — Our MERV 13 filters may have been created in the laboratory, they are very real. The attached graph illustrates the various sized particles and pathogens that MERV 13 captures with up to 99% efficiency.
MERV 13 vs HEPA — While HEPA filtration is the gold standard for fine airborne particles, it is not suitable for high-airflow systems, and MERV 13 is the best choice for larger particles that are wreaking havoc in the workplace.
MERV 13 GOES VIRAL — Although some respiratory pathogens (viruses, bacteria, molds) are smaller than the MERV 13 threshold of 0.3 microns, these organisms are generally not present alone in the air. Instead, they feed on moisture when expelled during a cough or sneeze. And the vast majority of these respiratory droplets fall into the MERV 13 capture zone, which is registered as an anti-pesticide device.

Tested and certified protections
All A-SAFE products are rigorously tested and are classified by impact level as standard. This allows you to compare products and choose the right barrier based on the trucks, weights, speeds present on your site.
For their part, steel protections are rarely tested and do not have an impact resistance scale. The only evaluation is often: bigger cart, bigger barrier, which is insufficient for an effective choice.
